Known as London’s gateway, Marble Arch is at the heart of London and an ideal location if you’re planning a working lunch and are on the hunt for a great venue. The choice is endless and to save you time we’ve put together some of the best places for a working lunch all located a short distance from our offices in Marble Arch.

Tokii, 50 Great Cumberland Place, W1H 7FD

This popular restaurant situated within the 5-star Prince Akatoki Hotel reopened earlier this year and is an ideal choice if you’re looking for something memorable and top-end. The focus is sushi, sashimi, seafood and meat cooked to perfection on a Robata grill. The menu is a delicious fusion of East and West. If you like minimalist chic, Japanese flavours and a soupçon of showmanship, then Tokii is a great pick.

Vinoteca, 13 – 15 Seymour Place, W1H 5BD

If an unfussy venue that’s cosy and down to earth is on your wish list then this wine bar ticks all the boxes. There are more than 200 wines to choose from and foodwise there’s everything from bar snacks through to substantial meals. The menu varies seasonally, and you can choose from dishes such as Scottish trout and paccheri pasta with apricot harissa, broccoli and pistachios. There’s also a good selection of small plates if you want a lighter lunch.

The Gate, 22 – 24 Seymour Place, W1H 7NL

For a high-end vegetarian and vegan Marble Arch lunch this place takes some beating. All the dishes are creative, flavoursome and a delight to the eye. Ingredients are carefully sourced and put together with flair and imagination. Choose from meals such as aubergine schnitzel, beetroot and mascarpone mousse or wild mushroom risotto cake. The space is light, airy and unfussy. Allergen information is available on request.

Hankies, The Montcalm, 2 Wallenberg Place, W1H 7TN

This Indian restaurant situated in the stunning Georgian Montcalm hotel, gets its name from the classic roti, made thinly, cooked on a hot Roomali Tawa and folded into a ‘hanky.’ The menu also features a mouth-watering selection of grills including 5 Oz Ribeye with a chilli jaggery drizzle and yellow chilli garlic prawn served on a skewer. The drinks menu offers a good selection of classy cocktails that complement the food nicely.

Galvin at Windows, London Hilton, 22 Park Lane, W1K 1BE

Enjoy fantastic views over London and the River Thames in this award-winning restaurant situated on the 28th floor of the Hilton Hotel. It’s at the pricier end of lunch places near Marble Arch, but well worth it if you have a client or business associate to impress. The menu is varied with choices ranging from skrei cod a la grenobloise to west country lamb with carrot, lovage and goats curd and beef, caramelised onion, and bone marrow toast. Save room because the desserts are equally delicious – Araguani chocolate and dulce de leche, caramelised banana & lime ice cream, sits alongside a Grand Marnier soufflé and sticky toffee pudding with parsnip ice cream. You might want to skip breakfast if you’ve booked a working lunch at Galvin at Windows!
